Who cares? They don't vote Democrat (and PETA's not a cowboy fan either).
(/sarcasm)
Now there's a niche victim...
Yippie Ki Yay!!
I did not put this in Extended, honest. :-)
(altho I have rodeo kin in Montana)
Now with gas prices falling, in some places below $2/gallon, these cowboy-babies lose their victimhood status. Cry me a river!
I Vote Suck It Up,,,,Cowboy On,,,
Brokebank Mountain.
The aarticle's a little dated. gas prices are plummeting. I've seen about a $0.30/gal. drop in prices in the past few weeks. So far, the bottom doesn't appear to be in sight (says he with crossed fingers - I'm not an oil patch guy!).

The horror!
I live in the Midwest and could travel anywhere in the US (roundtrip of 4,000 miles) and the fuel expense would be about $180 more at $3/ gal than at $2/ gal. That really wouldn't be so prohibitive to keep someone from driving on a vacation or other type of trip IMHO. I generally drive a full size Buick for work and drive about 500 miles a week for business. The difference in fule that I spend per week between $2 or $3 a gallon is around $25 a week.
Jeez, I didn't know a bull-buster's life was that impecunious. Why any man (esp. w/family) would do all this for so little $$ is hard to comprehend. $600,000.00 for eleven years work? Now way Jose! Not to mention this little matter of getting smashed up on a regular basis.
