We just need now to know what this latest Goebbels calls himself. It will be no wonder if Iran starts the next war, given how glibly and continuously their press lies to them.
Oh, but wait a minute, our press lies to us too.
But they don't have Rush, Mark, Sean or Ann.
So we're still one up on them.
And we have to keep our powder VERY dry.

The Pope calls Islam violent, and Islam gets violent-A nun murdered and churches burned. Couple that with six muslim bombings in Thailand, and Benedict hits a trifecta. Yet, Benedict is vilified.

"...an Israeli-US plot behind remarks by Pope Benedict XVI that linked Islam to violence..."
islam = violence, death, rape, poverty, destruction, murder, terror, horror, women-chattelling, boy-buggering etc etc etc.

As if we needed any more evidence that these people are at war with common sense and rationality.

I've been trying to find out about this apology but am not having much luck. Did he apologize that his remarks were wrong or did he say he was sorry that his remarks *offended* the muslims? The way I see it, there's a big difference.

His Holiness' apology was for angering the Muslim world. It was not a retraction of what he said. He is very sharp, and it went over most of the Muslim's head.

His apology was directed at their misunderstanding of his remarks. He said nothing wrong; he does not speak in sound bites. The Muslims took his quotation out of context.

There is humor to be found in Islam's irrationality. Just think about it, The Jews being blame for the head of the Catholic Church said! Oy Vey is right..

"Karl, what do you think, could you get the pope to quote that Byzantine guy, Manuel something-or-other, slamming the islamofascists? You know, use some of that mind-control stuff like you're always using on the democrats? That would be a neat trick, huh?"
To: NYer
The Iranian madmen are still preaching to the Islamic world. Postulating a plot between the US, the Pope, and Israel isn't going to win many converts to their cause, except perhaps in California.
