Rape is illegal in the United States. Good luck getting Mexico to send someone back here to face justice.

You're kidding, right? From the moment they cross our damn border the Mexicans are illegal. Yet Mexico ENCOURAGES it. Dog went after a MURDER who was from the UNITED STATES. Of course it was illegal, but it doesn't compare to the crap Mexico allows it's people to come here and do, drugs, murder, theft, rape, not to mention pillaging our social services and medical services; the list goes on forever.

You just have to add that mugshot to your little Tancredo/Buchanan graphic now.

And be sure to spam all the immigration threads with it.LOL.

IIRC, the creep/rapist was out on bail. Prior to being granted bail and having a bondsman put up the 'policy' for him, he had to sign an agreement that he could be picked up any place at any time.

This is just another example of this Administration being for the corrupt drug cartels that run Mexico. The Democrats would be no better, as the cartels are very rewarding to their friends.

Tancredo for President bump!

Yep.

Wonder whether this guy is one of Tancredo's constituents?

Motel owner sues TV bounty hunters

A Colorado Springs motel owner is suing the stars of the television show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," claiming they assaulted him during filming here, and that the episode has hurt his reputation and business.

[. . .]

They were in Colorado Springs in June 2005, looking for a bail jumper wanted on traffic and other warrants. After being told by an acquaintance he was at the Aztec, they went there, could not find him and got in a confrontation with Barnes, who ordered them to leave the property.

A fight broke out, police were called and Barnes, who had several cuts on his face and head, swelling under his right eye and fractured ribs, twice changed his mind about filing charges, according to police reports.

[. . .]

Barnes' lawsuit claims the bounty hunters intentionally caused a confrontation, and that it is a regular procedure on the show for Duane Chapman's wife, Beth, to provoke people to violence.

"They came out here to make a TV show and if they could get some innocent person to beat up for national TV, that was just frosting on the cake," his attorney, Lloyd Kordick, said Thursday. "The guy wasn't there. They should have left when they were directed to by the owner of the property."

I'll save my sympathy for someone who deserves it.

And on the other side of that coin is that Mexico is supposed to cooperate fully with the United States regarding wanted criminals that got into Mexico to avoid American prosecution. Mexico couldn't find this guy they say and Dog goes down for three days without resources and gets the guy.

IMO this is Mexico pissed off that someone paying them off was removed. Why would Mexico care to have a criminal remain in their country? Plus Dog wasn't collecting a bounty in Mexico, they were bringing the guy back to America.

Border crossing into the US by undocumented Mexicans is also illegal? If the Mexicans would not send Andrew Luster back to the US for prosecution, why in the world would we send Dog back to Mexico for prosecution???

What a screwed up world we live in!!!!

Do we co-operate withe law enforcement in North Korea and Iran and Cuba and such? Mexico is not our friend. We should not co-operate with our enemies. They don't act in our best interests. Period.

In a corrupt land ruled by the political puppets of the drug lords of the cartel, American bounty hunters are as popular as vampire hunters in Transylvania. Dog didn't break U.S. laws - and Tancredo is properly speaking up on behalf of a fellow U.S. citizen pursued by a corrupt foreign government. This is more than can be said for you.

(Dog) is a criminal and Tancredo is a hypocrite.

People are arrested all the time who are not guilty of anything.

The cops are not perfect. Ask Richard Jewell, the supposed 1996 Olympic bomber.

This supposed "crime" of bounty hunting in Mexico is a farce.

In fact, the Mexicans were probably paid off by the big bucks family of Max Factor.
