(John Kerry) Forget Jack Bauer

Your Sept. 12 editorial "Jack Bauer Insurance" was a disservice not to me or to fictional characters like Jack Bauer, but to the very real CIA agents whose commitment to the truth didn't fit the administration's neoconservative agenda on Iraq, and to agents endangered by reckless administration policies.
(snip)
Former CIA case officer Jim Marcinkowski argued the Valerie Plame leak hurt "the credibility of our case officers when they try to convince an overseas contact that their safety is of primary importance." Former CIA agent Larry Johnson, a registered Republican, said it "speaks volumes" that President Bush held no one accountable for the leak of an agent's identity. Forgotten is President George H.W. Bush's admonition that those who expose our agents are "the most insidious of traitors." CIA officers don't need Jack Bauer insurance--they need insurance against the recklessness of this administration

"...was a disservice not to me, a fictional character modeled after Agent Orange, but to the very real CIA agents who have been wondering why the truth didn't include the fact that Ms. Pflame was not covert, after all! It fits the DNC's antisemitic agenda on Iraq, and to agents endangered by reckless administration policies that should be done only by MY administration."
And I do have my own administration, doggone it! I have my Nancy Pelosi model done. And my Steny (Steny? Golly! Note to Teraza: have one of the servants get me a nickname before November!) Hoyer. I'm saving Madeline for last -- are Joooos a different color?
And I haven't *ahem* done some other members at all. I mean, the people who sell me stuff, down at the model shoppe, in my neighborhood, where I buy my supplies, just kinda looked at me funny when I asked for "Negro." (You know, for that Charlie Rangel and Cynthia McKinney and Jesse Jackson and all the others like that, that I avoid looking at.) I guess they didn't have any....

>"If it was so important that she not be exposed as once working under cover, why did she drive through the front gate of CIA headquarters every day to report to work?"What?? Just because she drove to CIA HQ every day and parked in the employeee parking lot, slept with Joe Wilson, and told him where she worked and what she did, doesn't mean that she's not covert.

Is Kerry still on dope?
Plame was outed by Richard Armitage, who did so with some agenda in mind (guess whose, first two don't count). Long after it mattered (IOW, long after Plame was potentially in harm's way), Novak wrote of it.
The Bush administration ignored it, which is consistent with plausible denial.
The partisan media shills have never let up on this, outing her more than anything the Bush administration could have done.
Sooooo, we have to conclude that the whole thing was just another partisan shill-sheet effort to get the name at the top of their hit list -- George W. Bush.
How else to explain this heads we win, tails you lose approach?
Heads -- Bush et al *don't* talk about Plame after she's outed, and are accused of trying to get back at Joe Wilson.
Tails -- turns out it wasn't the Bush administration, and Bush et al are blamed for *not* having told what they knew, even though they did.
On a related note, the Dhimmicrats are the Party of Treason.

And thank the Amish, too, for casting the most important votes in 2004. I understand they got more than half of the absentee ballots in Ohio, so that they wouldn't have to use evil electricity-using voting machines. Of course they're not going to vote for a party platform that endorses gay marriage.
