Morning Sundog :0)
I've been thinking about this all morning, It is afternoon now, and I'm still relatively speechless.
I guess we are all the way down to Ben Franklin's comment, "We have a government, lady, if you can keep it."
I think that is who said it and about what he said, but we are coming to the end of the 'keeping it' part. Someone else said, "The democracy will exist until people realize they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury", I believe it was a Scottish professor.
He underestimated the treachery of those who would vote themselves largesse, for they would follow it with wanton vandalism on the institutions of government.
It is human nature.
