Yes, having lived in the PRK (that's "People's Republik of Kaliforia"!) for almost twenty years, I am well aware of how such things go in quasi-police states. Unfortunately.

The operative paradigm in such places and times is very basic, and much easier said than done: Strike hard, then disappear.

My problem is, and again, I'm sure I speak for many others here in saying this, is that in such situations I will act regardless of the consequences. There are larger things than oneself, and this is but one example. Knowing this about myself is why I have trained for some time in the method I mentioned. That is, of course, is no gaurantee of success.
