We were also leveling entire cities. We gave our military the go ahead, tools, support to actually win the war. We didn't have reporters from our country showing propaganda for the other side on our networks. And we certainly weren't trying to understand what WE had done to make the Nazis so angry.

This is the dirty little secret behind the press reports that approval for Bush, the war, etc. are down. They spin it so you'd think everyone's a peacenik. But within those numbers are many who think the war isn't being prosecuted strongly enough.

"We were also leveling entire cities"

There are several reasons why thus happened in WWII and is not happening today
1 The type of war WWII was a convetional war this war is not.
2 Technology. The Norton bombsight used in WWII was not by todays standards very accurate.

"We gave our military the go ahead, tools, support to actually win the war."

How are we not doing this today?
