Just watched 'The Path to 9/11'
September 10, 2006 | myself

Posted on 09/10/2006 6:28:09 AM PDT by Byron_the_Aussie

Part one shown on Australian TV this evening.

Don't miss it, my Freeper friends. It's no wonder the Clintonistas have thrown everything at ABC/Disney, in a desperate effort to have the miniseries cancelled. Documents exactly what we've been following over the years on FR. Brave agents on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Dedicated people at Langley and the J. Edgar Hoover building, working around the clock to capture or kill Bin Laden, Ramzi Yusef et al. And all their efforts derailed by Clinton appointees like Berger and Allbright- selfishly putting their own careers (and covering their asses) before protecting the USA. The line of the show delivered by the actor playing Masood, brave and charismatic leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan:

...are there any men left in Washington? Or are they all cowards?....

Take the phone off the hook, and don't miss it. All the best, Byron

I wouldn't either ... he'd probably steal my mower. LOL

I'd pay good money to watch Berger put a lawnmower in his pants...

I wonder what kind of light do they show Richard Clarke in?

"On March 7, 1999, Clarke called a UAE official to express his concerns about possible associations between Emirati officials and Bin Ladin. Clarke later wrote in a memorandum of this conversation that the call had been approved at an interagency meeting and cleared with the CIA. When the former Bin Ladin unit chief found out about Clarke’s call, he questioned CIA officials, who denied having given such a clearance. Imagery confirmed that less than a week after Clarke’s phone call the camp was hurriedly dismantled, and the site was deserted. CIA officers, including Deputy Director for Operations Pavitt, were irate.“Mike”thought the dismantling of the camp erased a possible site for targeting Bin Ladin."

From Barking Moonbat Central (D.U.)

26. Sandy Berger should come out & say...

"That scene is just flat out LIES. We killed the real OBL that day. Bush is just feeding America old videos of OBL because his administration is too phucking incompetent to find the 911 mastermind."

"any chance that the unedited Aussie version will be made available to those of us here in the US who want to see the real version?"

I'll bet that bootleg DVDs will be available within the next 12 hours at every video shop in SE Asia, for less than $5.00 US. If there truly is a difference, the unedited version will be available in every US city by the end of the week.

ABC was planning to distribute the show freely anyway, including Internet downloads.

'The Path to 9/11' Annotated: CLIPS, SYNOPSIS, THE CLINTON-9/11 NEXUS, THE CLINTON JACKBOOT annotated by Mia T, 9.10.06 (clips, synopses from Redstate.org) he islamofascist terrorists declared war on America and committed acts of war against America when BILL CLINTON was president of America. But bill clinton IGNORED the declarations and acts of war because he is a coward and because crushing the muslim terrorists didn't comport with his personal goals. This self-absorbed postmodern blight on America thought he could perform his usual deconstructionist sleight of hand, fool the people and define away the threat ("It all depends on what...

[They may have recognised that a Hillery Clinton presidential bid will take them down in flames in 2008]

Personally, that's what I think. Maybe, we shall see. I think Warner will end up being the nominee.

Does any intelligent person on this planet need to watch a docu-drama this eveining in order to know what Bill Clinton did and didn't do in the lead up to 9-11-2001?

I'll be watching the Colts play New York!

Bubba will be somewhere doing...........well, you know what Bubba does.

I am wondering why the network did this.

I somehow doubt that someone is honest, saw the light, wants a correct record, etc. There is no goodness in MSM that I can see. Decisions are about money and sucking up to the liberal elite class.

So my final thought is, GWB has something on somebody big at ABC, something really big and someone really big.

I am so cynical that I cannot believe it.

The Aussie Prime Minister is a particular favorite of patriotic Americans. A real hero. We've been lucky with our friends, Great Britain, Australia, Italy.....and others who have risked political ramifications but did the right thing. We owe them a great debt of thanks.

"let's not forget her assistant, Jamie Gorelick"

Some feel that Jamie was put there to manage the GIANTESS and do the real work of the AG. (And probably to make certain "Stonewall" got to her local gay bar every night.)

You do make some good points. Has the pentagon asked for an increase in personal? It seems to me these are the people who know more about just what is the right size of forces we need.

Good morning.
"We're lost in My opinion."

You probably ARE lost, so you should just give up, bend over, and kiss your arse goodbye along with the rest of the clinton posse. Here in the FreeRepublic, the battle continues.

Thanks so much for this review, Byron! I've hardly known what to think this week with all of the controversy, but now I'm going to be firmly ensconsed in front of the TV, with the phone unplugged.

If you say so.

I recently retired from a local affiliate station and have seen the equipment this is done on. It's all automatic.

The backup satellite feeds for virtually all, non-live, network shows have been done, routinely, for years. It's automatic to the point that most people at the station don't even realize it's happening unless, for some reason, they have to use the backup.

This is one of the ways the networks were able to get their shows out to affiliates when we lost the Galaxy IV satellite back in 1998 (you may remember that as there were a lot of "services" on that bird).
