You're welcome Cindy. That's what both articles were about - Homeland transportation security issues have a long way to go IMHO. If trucking companies are hiring illegals with criminal records and who speak or read no English and airports have no screeners (federal or otherwise) - it doesn't bode well for how far we've come in securing America's modes of transportation. Either one is an invitation to potential disaster.

NY State Mushroom Recall
The NY State Department of Health is recalling about 10 thousand cases of mushrooms potentially contaminated with a harmful bacteria. They say random testing has identified the potentially dangerous listeria monocytogenes bacteria. In cases of fresh sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms and fresh sliced white mushrooms, by Monterey Mushrooms of Watsonville. The mushrooms were distributed to retail stores and produce markets in 7 states including New York and have code dates 237 through 247. The Health Department says bacteria may not be removed by washing. Symptoms including high fever, severe headaches and diarrhea. So far no illnesses have been reported.
