The two Fox News staffers who were kidnapped in Gaza earlier this month were forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint, according to news reports. Fox's Steve Centanni said on Wednesday that he didn't know if he was officially a Muslim—"I don't know enough about Islam to know if it was official, or recognized." Well, is he a Muslim, or isn't he?

YES! you are relly a MUSLIM insofar as all other Mohammedans are concerned. All that is required is to audibly repeat the formula. If you apostasize, renounce Islam, or show by your actions that you are still Christian/or- then you are under sentence of death and any Mohammedan with the opportunity is enjoined to carry out the sentence.

well, if he gets abducted again, he can just say he is muslim and he gets a free "no head chop" pass. But then again, Muslims kill their own without thinking twice... I guess his odds are better now though.

This is entirely what's wrong with an amoral, atheist society. Like Bill Clinton, the ethics and values are situational. A devout Christian wouldn't renounce Christ to save his own skin. However, our society is headed toward mass appeasement of tyranny with the Democrats leading the charge. When the missiles are aimed at us, what's to stop the non-grounded from reciting the Shihada to "save us" from war? Apparently nothing.

I guess if you feel Islam is not a true religeon involving God but, by it's Koran and the actions of its adherents showing them more in tune with the devil, it wasn't a true conversion. However, Steve said something about how much he respects Islam, but that was when he was in the company of the muzzie leaders of Gaza. I would expect his ordeal wised him up as to the true nature of these savages, if he hadn't wised up already.
