I think that's overly optimistic. I foresee Burns and Chafee losing in RI, and the Democrats winning all their contested seats. I see about a 6 or 7 seat pickup in the House. The only House democrat I can see losing is Boswell. (and Jefferson, to another Dem)

But it will never approach the netroots dream. Even with my scenario, they will cry, and it will be beautiful.

Just this week, the DNCC decided that Bos had enough funds on hand and also the power of the incumbency so they are not putting any more money into the Bos campaign.

I agree, Lamberti may very well take him out.

Bean will lose in IL. There are a couple in NC who might lose; the guy in W VA is vulnerable; and so on. There are about 5-6 vulnerable Dems, and really only about 5-6 vulnerable R's. We can actually GAIN a few seats, and will.

Burns, Talent, Santorum will win. Kean and either Kennedy or McGavick or Steele will win. Net gain in the Senate=1.
