Check your red-county, blue county map. SLO has been voting Republican for quite some time. Sant Barbara County to the South, and Monterey County, to the North, vote Democrat.

One independant dropped to $2.93 in Oceanside CA but the rest of the stations are from $3.07-3.29.
First time this year that it's been under $3.00!

It does tend to go down when you get farther from the city, and from Fairfax County.

Fairfax County is gouge-city ... of course, if you can find your way into Prince William County, be sure to fill up. It's always cheaper there.

I'd have to make a specific trip to PW to fill up, which isn't really worth the time and money. Fortunately, I have sufficient ExxonMobil stock that I "pay myself" each time I fill up.
