For Ann Compton, a very nice story, and it is much easier to read her words than listen to her breathless reports. She always sounds like she's constipated.

Getting rid of Blanco would help. Why and how that dithering woman ever became governor is a mystery to me.

I'm not sure I can take Biden...
****
I tried to listen, but just had to reach for the mute button! If I have to listen to a President Biden, I will have to give up radio and TV.

Cooking or following this thread seems a much better option than actually watching any of these shows.
You will have to tell me later what you cooked.

Since Biden is admittedly now on the campaign trail, he should be paying for his continuing face time on TV. Where is CF when it's needed?

She knew it but will never admit it this photo I believe is the nearest she ever came to doing so and that involved getting sympathy and support from the man she vilified.
The President and his wife on the other hand gave comfort and support to those who had actually suffered including those on the Gulf Coast

Since you brought up the propaganda aspect I have been formulating a theory all week long.
Now that we know the dead babies and all the rest of the media blitz the Hezzies engaged in during the Lebanon fiasco was phonied up, it makes good sense to me that they may have had a little help. Others too have surmised that it's just possible that a major PR firm may be behind the Hezzies seemingly amazing ability to sway opinions along with help form the MSM/DBM.
The big question being, is there a US PR firm connection to the Hezzies? Sounds like conspiracy doesn't it, but here's antoher one we thought was conspiracy as well, turns out it might not have been!
Not too long ago Rep. Kurt Weldon tried his best to come to the aide of Col. Tony Shaffer and others who valiantly dredged up data on Mohammed Atta before 911 and were prevented from presenting the data to the correct sources by the DOD among others. It seems that during the course of their data mining Able Danger ops. discovered a major league FBI screw-up RE Ali-Mohammed- a member of Osamma's inner circle. He reportedly became an FBI informant, smuggled Ben Laden in and out of Afghanistan, wrote an Al Qaeda terrorist manual among other deeds.
Author Peter Lance puts it this way, "The FBI allowed the chief spy for Al Qaeda to operate right under their noses",(shocking stuff when you think about it)224 were killed, 4,000 wounded because of FBI negligence.
The thinking is that the Pentagon decided to bury what AD uncovered to avoid embarrassment to the FBI(and who knows whom else)Lance also says that Scooter Libby/Rove prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald covered up or botched key Al Qaeda intel until 96 as a US attorney in NY--Fitzgerald literally left Ali on the street.
So this is potentially a possible reason why AD has been covered up and it's players lives basically destroyed.
You will find it all at the Able Danger blog here:

Thanks Hun, my daughter and her husband live in Key West which could be ground zero for this storm whatever it turns out to be. I told them to come on up Tuesday and they are. Cruise ships have been diverted and necessary preparations are underway(we are not like NO in the Keys, we are not helpless) to other areas of Mexico and the Caribbean.

Being British I always think of it as 11th September in written form or as you say September the 11th if talking about it.

BlankO had the klinton's advising her. More of slick willie's deadly legacy. He wanted Witt to be on board with the gov of Louisiana. As we well know, her dithering cost lives. The people who knew are long gone and not likely to return to that state until there is substantial change in the direction of the government there.
