Wouldn't it be hilarious if Cheney's ill health was just a smoke screen? And the reason we haven't seen too many leaders at the top of the GOP is because Cheney is planning to grab the GOP nomination in 2008?

I would too. While I really like and respect Dick, I don't think he could win. I think running him would give the demoncraps the White House.

I haven't given it much thought, but it sure would be invigorating if Cheney decided to run in 2008. Not only would the 'rats go completely and irrevocably incontinent, the conservative base would be enlivened like nothing since the halcyon days of Ronaldus Magnus.</p>
