Greetings All, time for a quick post of the Saturday Sortie. Tonight we feature some rather interesting aircraft pics from the NATO Tiger meets. Similar to the USAF Red Flag/William Tell exercises the Tiger Meets are international in scope and take place in Europe as a rule. More info here...

OH BTW the aerocraft usually feature some prettty interesting paint jobs. On with the pics

A Belgian AF F-16 from 31 Squadron shows off some pretty tigerish tail feathers for the lead pic tonite.

A Royal Canadian F/A-18 resplendent in it's tiger paint

A Dutch SAAB 105 in Tiger Colours formates with an L-39 Albatross, I think

A French Arme de Aire Mirage shows off it's tiger claws as it banks away from the camera ship. Loks like Tony here has figured out how to handle the squadron paperwork as well!!!

The Canadians make the scene with a CF-104 Starfighter fly past a pretty cool castle. See I do notice other things besides airplanes:-)

A pair of SAAB 105s from the Austrian Armed Forces round out the pics for tonight with some vibrant paint jobs.

To All The Divas Of The Canteen


Trouble!






My Human has given me the oddest name
I would have liked something that strikes fear in the Heart
But, instead, my Pretty One selected something that sounds kind of banal and tame
A name that connotes that I am clumsy when I dart
From room to room and brush by the Pretty One's Flower and Pottery Cart
And make the Flowers fall with a loud and wet Crash!

That scares me to Death and causes me to dash
Into my Pretty One's dark and wondrous Clothes Room
Where I wrap myself in deep and warm scented darkness and gloom
Then decide to relax and nap in the toe of one of her tall, narrow shoes
Wondering why she has so many of the same kind, but in different textures and hues?

It must be a Pretty Human thing, for I have not a clue!
As I climb One-At-A-Time the Steps that go Upstairs
Only to caught flat-footed by the Pretty One, unawares
A moment passes by as she look around, the we both exchange stares
I see she is smiling, but I've a feeling that she might be mad
I guess that being named "Trouble" isn't so bad!
