Both are designed to incite to violence, thus the 1st Amendment does not apply.

Still, IMO the city should let the anti-Semites protest, but without police protection. Let the local populace exercise their opinion as to the validity of the protester's views. Preferably with baseball bats.

I hope every Republican candidate has a video recorder out there taping this protest. Then they need to make commercial after commercial of it and play them over and over. Drive it home that this is the DEOMCRAT PARTY

I am all for saying NO to this kind of thing. There is a line crossed when speakers call for Death to Israel, down with the Jews, etc. Freedom is not license.

Sadly, no.

It only gets worse.

Robert Breeze, the organizer of the "Death to Israel" rally is a REPUBLICAN precinct chair, i.e. a minor elected party official. The Chairman of the county Republican Party, James Evans, has reportedly refused to do anything at all about this.

It would be fairly easy to remove Mr. Breeze from his position, by a vote of the party Central Committee. As a former member of that body, I can't imagine that they'd want Breeze to continue as a party official.

It would be even easier for Mr. Evans simply to open his mouth and condemn Mr. Breeze's genocidal ideology, while clarifying that "Death to Israel" is not part of the Republican platform.

Of course, Senators Hatch, Bennett, and Republican Reps. Bishop and Cannon have been silent too.

As a Jewish Republican who has been very involved in the state and local party, I'm disgusted beyond belief. Utah's Republicans are actually working hard to maintain their "white, male, Neo-Nazi" image. It just confirms yet again that Republicans are the "stupid party".
