Are you claiming this preacher does not wish to prevent women from teaching? I'm claiming that this fact does not make him like the Taliban, any more than the fact that they both breathe air makes them alike.

Yup, he is not trying to prevent women from teaching. In the letter, he even states HE was taught by women growing up....BUT NOT IN CHURCH. He is following scripture which state women are not to teach MEN IN CHURCH.
