Mike Brown is doing well for himself, after being stabbed in the back by Chertoff and Bush.

If you are going to sit and wait for the FedGov to save you...say your prayers now.

the Bush administration has failed to learn the lessons of that catastrophe, former Federal Emergency Management Agency director Michael Brown said on Tuesday.

It wasn't the American public that did Brownie in .. it was the media .. and he didn't help matters with some of his comments

The bottom line is .. the government can't stop catastrophe .. and it especially can't stop a category 5 hurricane

Anyone who thinks it can prevent it or make everything perfect afterwards .. is living in a dream world

I agree with you....

Dang...Bush gave him much more of a chance...didn't embarrass him publicly...and yet Brownie was crying like a baby in the Congressional hearings.

Love it...an office in Boulder, Colorado...that tells me all I need to know about him...LOL

BTW...it makes me sick that people like Sean Hannity and others are STILL saying Katrina was Bush's fault.

Agreed. Since when is the Federal government supposed to be ready for every natural disaster? In the olden days, not that long ago, the localitites were accountable for their local mishaps. Talk about the evolution of the Nanny State.

The Feds threw billions at New Orleans and the locals are boozing it up watching porn in hotels 500 miles away.

Blanco and Landrieu could have had the filth cleaned up in 6 months if they had any brains and the inclination to do so.

Funny how whenever Mike Brown has something critical to say about the Bush administration, all of a sudden the guy has sh-t loads of credibility with the same media who tore him to shreds. Suddenly he's a model of competence and knowledgability when he is criticizing the Bush administration with these media clowns.

Bingo - Bango - Bongo! The libs have hypnotized the sheeple into thinking that it is Big Brother to care for their every wish. And there are quite a few dolts here that think that way too.

Brown should have been ridden out of office on a rail - then his credibility even with hacks like Reuters would have been too low to reach with whatever sort of implement that would-be news agency uses to scrape up interviews.

The President stuck his neck out for Brownie and took a lot of heat for it also

I don't blame Brown for what happen in NO/LA .. but he sure needs to shut the heck up
