The best team ever.
When Don Meredith was QB for Dallas, he once threw a perfect pass to Bob Hayes.....all alone and in stride to the end zone. Hayes dropped it.
On the way back to the huddle Meridith met Hayes short of the huddle and said something to Hayes. Hayes, stopped smiled, and started laughing.
To this day, I wonder what Meredith said. He had such wit.
