Dear justshutupandtakeit,

Social conservatives, as identified by the proxy of those who just won't vote for a pro-abort candidate, comprise about 20% of the entire electorate. In presidential races, consistently, exit polls identify about 20% of the electorate who just will not vote for a pro-abort. This is the core of socially conservative voters, folks who are first and foremost social conservatives.

Conversely, about 10% of the electorate just won't vote for pro-lifers.

It's clearly a minority of the electorate, social conservatives, and not even a majority of the Republican Party. However, it is difficult to imagine that a Republican candidate could lose a substantial proportion of this group and still win a presidential election.

You are dreaming and exaggerating the numbers by a factor of almost ten.
