Um, she was in Washington, in a secure seat. But she gave it up because being a mere Congresswoman wasn't enough for her ego and she launched this disastrous campaign instead. She is the GOP equivalent of Denise Majette.

sidepoint; I believe Denise Majette was blackmailed out of that seat by McKinney & Co, and just used the unwinnable Senate race to give her a good excuse to leave her safe seat.

Have you been able to ask Congresswoman Harris WHY she decided to run for the Senate?
I have and she told me she has grown frustrated with having many good bills pass the House & then get stuck in the Senate due to the Dems.
She believes she can make a difference in the Senate.
Please don't count her out yet. After the primary, I believe that JEB & other GOP will campaign for her.

She is the GOP equivalent of Denise Majette. Maybe, but keep in mind that she was the only one qualified to run against Nelson except for Jeb Bush. Bush declined to run, and no other credible Republican candidate stepped up to the plate until literally at the last minute, when 3 no-name jokers signed up in desperation to challenge her in the primary.
You Harris bashers simply need to back off of her and just let the primary run its course. If she loses, she loses...but what business is it of you guys if she does? She's an adult, she made a decision. The way you people criticize her you'd think she was an unelected Ruler or Queen or something.
