WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 /U.S. Newswire/ -- House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today in response to a federal judge's ruling that the NSA wireless surveillance program is unconstitutional:

"The decision by a federal judge that the President's electronic surveillance program is unconstitutional is a repudiation of Mr. Bush's dangerous assertion that he has unlimited authority to conduct wiretapping activities in the United States.

"Now it is time for the President to work with Congress to devise tough, effective, and lawful ways to monitor the communications of suspected terrorists."

Whatever happened to playing politics with the war on terror? Oh, yeah..that's right. That only applies to Republicans and not jew-hating, hags with more plastic surgery than a hollywood whore.

The President's forehead has a permanent dent in it from banging his head against a brick wall having to deal with the likes of Pelosi and Congress

From the lefties at Mojowire:

Of course the bloodless ghouls of Freeperville (sorry, I don't have the emotional energy to link there) have completely spun out...

I think they are over their cognitive dissonance and have finally embraced their fascist leanings, openly saying that the Preznit should just ignore the court, under the rubric of "Oh yeah? Well, who's gonna make us stop? You?"

That and of course, that the court is actually in support of terrorism, so anything they say should not count...

I recall "stretch" touting what the Brits did to nix the latest terrorist plot to take down trans-Atlantic flights bound for the U.S.

If memory serves, the UK's security/surveilance capability allows for easier tracking of the bad guys.

Stretch... wounder how'd you feel if a terrorist cell was successful in taking down as San Fran. landmark like the Golden Gate Bridge, but could have been prevented by NSA's monitoring of calls? We're trying to connect the dots, but you don't want to allow it. If Cali gets hit (and hit hard) you've got no one to blame but yourself and you're like-minded "friends." And no, do not attempt to place blame on the Bush Administration for making people mad at the U.S. for doing what we said we're going to do - take out the bad guys/gals before they get a chance to do their dirty work.

DFU SONG: Put on a Happy Face (Pelosi, put on a burqa)
DFU SONG PARODIES | 1-2003 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

Posted on 01/28/2003 12:59:59 PM PST by doug from upland

MIDI - PUT ON A HAPPY FACE

Nancy Pelosi, we plead…put on a burqa, please
Appeasement has been your creed…put on a burqa please

You show it every time how much you loathe…the USA
Please climb up on that Golden Gate you've got…and fly away

You're a RAT, you're a liar…put on a burqa, please
Dear, your pants are on fire…put on a burqa, please

Like all the libs you are so filled with sleaze
Just put on a burqa, please

You're in the weasel axis…put on a burqa, please
First thought is raise our taxes…put on a burqa, please

You show it every time how much you loathe…the USA
Please climb up on that Golden Gate you've got…and fly away

You may say we are right wing…put on a burqa, please
But we say you are frightening…put on a burqa, please

Like all the libs you are so filled with sleaze
Just put on a burqa, please

Hey, I know. Why don't we just have the New York Times "devise tough, effective, and lawful ways to monitor the communications of suspected terrorists"? Then they'd be like liberal pre-approved and the President wouldn't have to worry about having these new tough, effective lawful methods exposed in the media and thus rendered impotent.

I just wonder, though. On what planet would monitoring terrorist communications not involve tracing their phone calls and Internet chatter, which is what the NSA already does? Just wondering. Maybe someday Pelosi and her fellow fantasists will let us know.

From dictionary.com's definition of Whore:

3. A person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain.

I think whore fits..what say you?

"Whatever happened to playing politics with the war on terror?"

That was YESTERDAY's talking points (when the terrorists were stopped in London)....today, the Bush-Bash is to tout the Liberal activist Judges flawed ruling (which be over-turned quickly) as "Bush is a dictator taking away your Constitutional Rights"....

Even when over-turned, the ACLU has hundreds more suits on the same issue that they are shopping for Judges on. It won't end with an over-turned finding there in Detroit

Nancy honey, the program in question is already "tough, effective, and lawful". The agenda-driven "judge" in Detroit just doesn't understand this. She will, soon.

It would take something of that magnitude to awaken this woman from her stupor. Same goes for Canada and pretty much all of Europe. Terrorism is not a fad, it is not going to go away on it's own like bellbottoms, it will have to be destroyed.

"now that this option for monitoring terrorism's off the table did she make any suggestions to replace it ???"

She didn't have time to....she had to make some overdue phone calls to Tehran, Damascus, Beirut, etc.....

Just don't hold your breath waiting to see it happen.I haven't seen anything lately to indicate terrorism's going to be destroyed. Not from the Bush Admin, certainly not from our court system or the Democrats, and forget Europe or the UN !!!

Short of evaporating the Middle East and every Muslim on the planet I don't know how it's ever going to be stopped. We may be looking at the twilight of civilization's history.
