The state has ordered two Orlando clinics to stop doing abortions indefinitely and suspended the medical license of their owner, Dr. James Pendergraft, on grounds that he illegally performed third-trimester abortions.
The restrictions began last week at one Orlando location, and by Wednesday, all five of Pendergraft's offices statewide had been ordered to stop providing abortions.

WHA---??!!! No abortions in a back alley? No rusty coat hangers? But all the liberals say they carried the bodies out of the back alleys every day, and fed them to the pigs, and didn't wash the coat hangers for the next day.
You are just ruining my illusions.
Paul Hill's methods were extremely wrong. OTOH he killed only those directly responsible for mass murder of innocents and the bodyguard of same. He had a more worthy class of victims which STILL did not justify what he did. Personally, I wish his victims had lived to repent their crimes against God and humanity.
That abortion clinic was only about 3 miles from my house. I remember it like it was yesterday. We drove by the place about 30 minutes after it happened, not knowing the reason for all the police cars and ambulances. We heard about it on the news later, it was shocking. He went to his grave believing he was in the right. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall on his Judgement Day.

Hideous.
Misdemeanor? It should be a felony!
Yes, it should be, with serious jail time.
Minimum 15 years, maximum life in prison.
Dr. James Pendergraft
"Pendergraft's medical license was suspended Wednesday in an emergency order that claims he has shown "a flagrant disregard for the laws of the state of Florida and a willingness to endanger the lives and health of pregnant patients."
"Pendergraft has been dogged by controversy ever since he was initially convicted -- then cleared -- in an extortion case involving his business associate."
Praise God! Thanks for the pings, CP and Coleus!
Paul Hill would want the death penalty for the abortionist (even if inflicted by himself) and (if I can extrapolate from his published statements) would be contemptuous of this frail, fragmentary enforcement of a frail, fragmentary law.
However, you've got to start somewhere, and I recognize it as a start. If we would enforce the laws we already have, promptly, vigorously, and to the hilt, we could probably shut a lot more of them down.
It took tax fraud charges to bring down Al Capone, right? That --- and hygiene, licensing, and zoning laws --- could probably shut down a lot more abortionists. Come on, police chiefs, prosecutors: what are you waiting for?
"Of course his way of dealing with abortion doctors was just as wrong."
Then why even mention the worthless scumbag?
The laws are not perfect, far from it. But no one has the right to take the law in their own hands and become Judge, Jury and Executioner. If we allow people to do that it would be opening a Pandora's Box of unbelievable magnitude. I agree that there are more ways of skinning a cat and any avenue that puts these clinics out of business legally should be persued. We should start by getting Rowe v. Wade overturned.
Because his way of dealing with the problem is as bad as the problem itself. Granted, the abortion doctor and his bodyguard were hardly innocent like an unborn baby but executing them like they did to the unborn is equally as wrong. The Pro-Life, Anti-Abortion movement got a huge black eye (just like the bombing in Atlanta) by extremist whackos like Hill. Incidents like this only garner further resistence to the cause.
