Good to see someone look at the facts instead of "off with their heads" mentality.

"It appears most everyone posting here has some interest.
If that bothers you, why are you reading this thread?"

Well said.

It matches the dna of the suspect.

Not according to FOX News this evening ... they don't have conclusive DNA evidence.
You, like many others, are jumping the gun.

What the Ramseys faced in the way of public persecution was almost entirely of their own creation by being very slippery and evasive.

They got some VERY bad legal and PR advice. I hope John Ramsey knows that. Because of their actions, a cloud of suspicion was always around them, even extending to their 9-year-old son.

I thought the father was involved only because he looked so much like Bill O'Reilly.

You mean the same Fox news that reported that New Orleans had dodged the bullet with hurricane Katrina?

It seems that from most of the posts on this thread, the police department is to blame for the family being suspects. With sex crimes, all it takes is an accusation for someone to be presumed guilty by most people. That's human nature I guess.

If the cops were as arrogant with me as they were with the Ramseys I would not cooperate either. Even the former Assitant DA said the police were focusing only on the Ramseys. I am no criminal but nowadays, I'd call a lawyer if I was suspected on anything more major than a traffic ticket, even though I was innocent. Everyone had Richard Jewell tried and convicted too.

With this DNA in hand to begin with, why did they focus so obsessively with the mom?

Who knows... maybe she (the Mrs.) was having an affair with Carr?

Did you ever think for one moment that the Ramseys knew full well what the Keystone Kops in Boulder would do to them? Only a few years before JonBenet was murdered, there was a little girl in Chicago who was abducted from her bed and murdered.
Her father went to prison, even though he was innocent. I'll bet that Mr. and Mrs. Dowalliby could put you straight about what happens when the cops just make up their minds.
Another case in point is Scott Horonoff, a Warwick RI LEO, who spent six years in prison for murder. One afternoon, a carpenter walked into a police station and confessed to the murder. The stupid cops had the evidence all along.

Maybe the cop who wrote your book is just a better building contractor than detective.

Guy was in prison in Bankok on an unrelated sex charge and agreed to return to the US. Speculating that the prison system here is more favorable than being in prison there.

If she was having an affair with him at some time, she would have had to give his name to police during this for the sake of her family and daughter.

I doubt there was an affair.

As I recall, dogbreath ... FOX News didn't exist 10 years ago ... or, if they did, I was certainly unaware of their existence.
