I hate to pile on, but you really SHOULD read an article before commenting on it.
I read it, which is why I commented the way I did. I don't buy Geyer's analysis about Castro's historical significance or his supposed "firsts." He was a garden variety dictator and thug who captivated the Left in this country. He is [was] a legend in his own mind.
