There are so many categories here I can't make sense of it. I don't know if I'm not one of the Good Humor Folks, or if Good Humor Folks are not Evangelicals, or if I'm a "they" or a "we", or if I am not compelled to be overly understanding, sympathetic, accomodating, etc.
I hope you don't mind my asking, but how old are you?
In one sense your insistence on some sort of fairness in freedom of commentary is belied by your complaints of unfairness in other's commentary. Lighten up. Switch to decaf or something. If you want to discuss Christ's end time schedule go ahead. Nobody's stopping you. Whining about posters not conforming to certain notions of fairness in levity/serious levels in posting probably isn't going to get one very far because one doesn't have any control over what people post in response to one's posts. My suggestion is that if you don't like certain posts, ignore them. If you don't like this post, ignore it.
Cordially,

I hate the fuss. I hate making a fuss. But the hypocrisy about the above has gone on far too many years without someone making a fuss. Seems to usually fall my lot.
I didn't and don't give a rip about the humor. Mostly thoutht it was mostly cute. But the double standard hypocrisy of the other side was and is outrageous.
Nevertheless, dialogue with some seems 99.9999% impossible. I've had my say and made my points. Folks refuse to consider themselves or their mirrors are broken or something but that will just have to be.
Cheers.
