FWIW,
Some of us enjoy dialoguing about the topic from our perspective and enjoy each other being sounding boards, iron sharpening iron and even humor on the topic in whatever ebb and flow developes.
The good humor folks evidence a lack of compulsion to be overly understanding, sympathetic, accomodating etc. of our perspective yet throw a hissy fit if we are not understanding, sympathetic and accommodating to theirs. Actually, they don't even seem to like it if we just ignore them and do our thing on the thread as they could do and were doing on the thread. I guess it's more of THEY CAN but WE CAN'T.
There are so many categories here I can't make sense of it. I don't know if I'm not one of the Good Humor Folks, or if Good Humor Folks are not Evangelicals, or if I'm a "they" or a "we", or if I am not compelled to be overly understanding, sympathetic, accomodating, etc.
I hope you don't mind my asking, but how old are you?
In one sense your insistence on some sort of fairness in freedom of commentary is belied by your complaints of unfairness in other's commentary. Lighten up. Switch to decaf or something. If you want to discuss Christ's end time schedule go ahead. Nobody's stopping you. Whining about posters not conforming to certain notions of fairness in levity/serious levels in posting probably isn't going to get one very far because one doesn't have any control over what people post in response to one's posts. My suggestion is that if you don't like certain posts, ignore them. If you don't like this post, ignore it.
