The Republicans keep trying to shoot themselves in the foot, and every time they do the democrats bump their elbow and make'em miss.

(and, hopefully, only) win. One dim called into Rush yesterday and was thoroughly disgusted by the far-left that has taken over his party.
I heard Lanny too. I will give him credit for one thing...as much as he defended Bill Clinton, he ALSO refused to attack President Bush, whom he knew while at Yale. I remember him saying that George Bush was a wonderful man, and although he disagreed with him politically he would not speak ill of him personally.
I wonder how Matthews is playing this defeat/victory?
