Just a quick post to tell you about an exciting new website: Rightroots. Rightroots provides you with a quick and easy way to financially support conservative congressional candidates...

I have proudly endorsed Rightroots and I hope you will too, by visiting them today and making a contribution to one or all of the candidates Rightroots has listed.

If the Democrats gain control of the Congress, “today’s environment” will seem mild compared to what we’ll have to endure in 2007 and 2008 – total gridlock for the President and for the country. I see the tactics of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha and Hillary Clinton every day…allowing them to gain control of the Congress will be devastating for the next 2 years and beyond.

My fellow blogger on Capitol Hill, Congressman Jack Kingston, has challenged conservative bloggers to donate $26,000 to Rightroots candidates by this Friday at midnight. I encourage everyone to help Rightroots meet this goal.

The 2006 elections are about a choice. To me that choice is crystal clear:

• Tax cuts vs. Tax hikes
• Judges who interpret the law vs. Judges who make the law
• Energy independence vs. Energy dependence
• Victory in Iraq vs. Retreat from Iraq
• Protected borders vs. Porous borders
• Protecting doctors vs. Protecting predatory trial lawyers

FYI - Rightroots exceeded Jack Kingston's challenge early yesterday, well in advance of the deadline, so the Congressman will be coughing up $14K. :-)

As of this morning Commissioner Irey still leads the pack. In addition to some extra bucks, I think this is excellent exposure for her. As you can see, Rep. Kingston and Sen. Frist are fully endorsing this PAC. Important people are paying attention. :)

There, I think that captures the essence of your type. Sen. Frist has made it crystal clear, for those of you who struggle to keep up, that there is indeed a difference between the two parties.

You obviously haven't been paying attention. had you actually followed events you would know that the Senate is not under Republican control and Frist could not pass legislation as he pleased.

Show me your receipt for a contribution and I might have a change of heart but right now I agree with Coop.
