Yes it is. I can only imagine the basket case the US would be with a gore or Kerry presidency.

They've been on our side since shortly after the war of 1812. The socialists almost drifted them into oblivion, but they did not give in.

Canada was on our side in WW2, they will be back on the winning team for WW3. Clarification --- The U.S. joined our side 2 years into WW2 after you were attacked by Japan and had war declared on you by Germany.

What did you think the U.S. was doing prior to Pearl?

what the rest of the world other our crowd is doing right now. appease Wrong answer. The U.S. was not appeasing either Germany or Japan prior to Pearl Harbour..
While not fighting either, the U.S. was shipping lots of war material, arms and supplies to Britain and others who were doing the fighting and the U.S. was also squeezing the Japs with embargoes of inputs to its war machine.
That said, WW2 started 2 years later for the U.S. than it did for us.

The American people would have been against the war one day before pearl harbor. thats where I was thinking appeasement. I know FDR and Churchill were on the ball VERY EARLY and probably spent many late nights looking at the threat and seriously worrying.
