Whya are people upset is beyond me.

Well, I'm neutral on this issue, but I'll say this: It's amazing that conservatives are upset over possibly mis-spent private donations than they are over the billions of tax dollars wasted annually by the federal government.

I see your point. I guess what worries me is that money might be unwisely spent by the base on some of these groups instead of going where it could be truly used wisely in the mid term elections.
