My former company sent employees there before the employees were sent to Iraq.

>>How to break a man's arm with your bare hands. The students pay close attention. On a patch of grass under a powder-blue sky, they pair off to practice... <<

It wouldn't see like a pair could practice that more than say about four times... and the third and fourth time would kind of hard, I would think.

It is interesting.

Without these private companies, many businesses would be unable to operate in many countries around the world where civil unrest, terrorism, and local militias make doing business riskier than usual.

Hold here. Pivot there. Trap arm. Bend. And snap.

The locals might resent it. In Fallujah they "hanged some of the [contractors] bodies on the old bridge like slaughtered sheep"

"Since 2000, Blackwater alone has claimed more than half a billion dollars in federal contracts - most of it no-bid. And that's just what shows up in public records. The nature of the industry ensures considerable privacy. Contracts are often classified, clients confidential, compounds off-limits."

Inappropriate. This company basically hires out security guards. To classify their contracts to such an extent that the ordinary taxpayer is left in the dark opens up too much opportunity for mischief.

Isn't Blackwater the company that sent contractors into Fallujah in April 2004 with inadequate protection, and got four of their workers lynched for it?

I have no problem with these guys doing private security detail for corporations and celebrities. I think they would also be perfect for border security. The line needs to be drawn, however, when it comes to actual combat in a war zone. That's what our brave troops are for.

I don't know... I'd never heard 'coinslot' in reference to going-away cleavage until Lindsay Lohan's bit on SNL recently. That's not too far from C***j**k.

Frankly, if the governments of the world aren't going to confront the terrorist vermin, I prefer to see people like this doing it. These guys don't have to play by the rules. They can operate under the radar, and use tactics that the politicians consider too dirty. (You can bet SOP for extracting information isn't putting panties on some prisoner's head.) In short, they can get the job done while the preeners and posers are bloviating about "human rights" and similar gibberish, and American men and women are being killed.
