Yes, you should hang your head in shame.
It's very esay for you to sit wherever you are and say they should not use personal attacks. Yet Kristinn, Doctor Raoul, TgslTakoma and all the others have been personaly attacked by these very people. Obviously you have not read some of the other threads where they were Freeping Code Pink in other places. Code Pink has gotten personal AND physical. If you took the time to follow the activities of the DC Chapter you would know this.
I know myself well enough to know that I should stay away from such things as I have a pretty low flashpoint. I will not criticize the means by which the people who are there on the front lines with these code pinko losers decide what is appropriate and what is not.

OK - Here's an example:
"Pink" implies sweetness and light.
But there is nothing "sweet" about undermining our fight.
When our troops are hurt they take delight.
Reject Code Pink and stand up for what's RIGHT.
Freeper Shave.
It goes after Code Pink -- not only for what they do, but how they present themselves -- without a personal attack.

Sweetie Cups, it accomplished what it was intended to do, communicate that those down the street trying to portray themselves as "patriotic" are not.
How, pray tell, does calling someone a "hag" communicate that they are not "patriotic"? It accomplishes no such thing. If you want something that rhymes with "flag" but specifically targets what they are doing, why not "socialists in drag"?

Yes, and that is the same excuse people used to justify Coulter's attacks on the Jersey Girls. I teach my kids that "they did it first" is no excuse. Why should I expect less from educated adults than I expect from my 9-year-old son? If anyone should hang his head in shame, it is one who lowers himself to childish tactics. Most conservatives I know are people of faith. Are the types of attacks you defend something you would be proud to do in front of your priest, pastor, etc? Is that the type of behavior you would use in front of your mother? Is that the type of behavior you would teach to your kids? No, I'm not the one who should hang my head in shame. Personal attacks are not only bad manners -- they are bad "strategerie".

Thanks for your contribution, I'm sure that drivers will understand your message as they travel at 30 miles an hour down Georgia Avenue.
Also the words will fit very tidily on placards resting on the roofs of parked cars.

Oh puhleeze! It isn't that long. I suppose if you want to appeal to the lowest common denominator it is a lot easier to just throw out the word "hag".
To: soccermom
That would be, "Pinko hag."
To: maica
LOL!
We'd need a couple of box trucks to paint that message on, and then folks would have to slow to a crawl to read it all.
It's funny that we get a finger waved at us here, and are told, "No name calling," in a "Do as I say, not as I do" manner. I just checked out her posting history and she called: 1) Joe Wilson "an idiot", 2) Rosie O'Donnell and some other chick (Behar) on The View "loudmouth east coast liberal," 3) in multiple of her posts she goes on and on about "deluded" people who support Ann Coulter's mean-spirited personal attacks on the Jersey Girls and Cindy Sheehan and calls her a bully. As a matter of fact, for months now she's been almost a one-note singer on Ann Coulter and the Jersey Girls. It's weird. And probably not worth our time to argue with her. She seems to like arguing for the sake of arguing. We know who and what Code PinkOs are, and we have been facing off with them for several years now. We know their tactics, and their history; and we know what their goal is with their Walter Reed blood dance. They won't get away with calling our troops rapists and murderers and war criminals so long as I can get my chubby old self out onto the streets. And if I happen to use a "mean" but very apt name? She can cry me another river.

She really is a nag, on many threads, for some kind of personal reason. Oops, did I just call her a name?
When she shows up at Walter Reed to hold a sign or wave HI to a soldier leaving WRAMC I will apologize. Until then I have finished writing to her. Her Burma Shave poetry is a good example why discourse is impossible.

Look your advice is worthless, so stop bothering people. The intent was to identify these people to the public and demoralize them. Mission Accomplished.
You don't like it, do something else. Don't get in the way of success.

To: Doctor Raoul
Charming! So now you make up personal attacks/lies about me? I suppose if you can't defend your actions, that is always easier.
