The French will eat almost anything. A young cook decided that the French would enjoy feasting on rabbits and decided to raise rabbits in Paris and sell them to the finer restaurants in the city. He searched all over Paris seeking a suitable place to raise his rabbits. None could be found. Finally, an old priest at the cathedral said he could have a small area behind the rectory for his rabbits. He successfully raised a number of them, and when he went about Paris selling them, a restaurant owner asked him where he got such fresh rabbits. The young man replied, "I raise them myself, near the cathedral. In fact, I have ... a hutch back of Notre Dame.

I'm sorry I'm late this weekend. Last week I compiled some music for my son to listen to as he rides in his jogging stroller (after all, mommy had her CD player). We rigged him some speakers and he's been enjoying his favorite tunes each day as mommy goes jogging.

This song was introduced in my favorite Walt Disney movie Pinocchio. The Jiminy Crickett vocal is by Cliff Edwards and it won the Academy Award for Best Song in 1940.

Another Academy Award Best Song winner that Mikey likes is from Frank Capra's 1959 film A Hole In The Head. With music by Jimmy Van Heusen and lyrics by the legendary Sammy Cahn, orchestra leader Nelson Riddle pairs Frank Sinatra with child star Eddie Hodges and "A bunch of kids".

A former Joslin Diabetes Center patient, Cahn's goal in writing the song was to provide hope and encouragement to kid's with diabetes, while supporting the world's leading diabetes center. Today, the High Hopes Fund benefits millions of children and adults who live with diabetes and the millions more at risk for the disease.
