Pretty tame in comparison, wouldn't you say Ern?
Lived around here for 8 years and it's nothing compared to the northern Midwest.
Guess it's because of Lake Michigan.
Most winters here are bearable. About 2 weeks of snow. THe hard part is that the temp teeters at freezing, so it snows at night, melts at day, then freezes to ice at night, and puts another layer of snow on top, to melt and freeze again.
Then after two weeks, it is like spring time.
