Amnesty condemns IDF strikes
by Associated Press
Jul. 13, 2006
Amnesty International urged Israel to abide by international law Thursday, calling for Israel to halt attacks on civilian targets and for the Lebanese militia group Hizbullah to treat two kidnapped IDF soldiers humanely... "Hizbullah must stop launching attacks against Israeli civilians and it must treat humanely the two Israeli soldiers it captured on 12 July and grant them immediate access to the International Committee of the Red Cross." Amnesty stopped short of calling for the soldiers' release since both Lebanon and Israel were signatories of the Geneva Conventions, said Donatella Rovera, also with Amnesty. The Geneva Conventions offer protections to prisoners of war. Amnesty called on the Lebanese government to ensure that Hizbullah complies with the Geneva Conventions obligations.

Never been prouder of anyone or anything than my son's service to this great country in Iraq.

Thanks!

CNN now talking about Israel's targeting the 'spiritual leader' of Hezbollah.

Such an oxymoron.....

My comment on your picture: Notice the "well spring of Islamic thought." Why is it that all dreams of world domination emerge from the same source? The source being circular in nature, it often erupts with turgid ("turdgid") results. Please pardon my very clumsy puns.

The easy solution would be for the U.S. to bomb Iran's nuke facilities and missile locations now. Sooner is preferable to later. Or just let Israel do the bombing and sit back and complain about it later. Loudly. But to oppose punitive sanctions in the UN. Bush can say, "Catch 22, Iran. Deal with it now."

You have to listen through a filter, Fitz.

(And since I never listen to CNN, I can't help but notice today that not one of their 'correspondents' is an American. That must help their anti-American coverage a lot.....)

Showing President Bush's placing all the blame on Hezbollah.

CNN doesn't like this one bit.

About an hour ago, FOX gave the following phone # for all Americans stuck in Lebanon to call. I am repeating this number from memory. I did not write it down at the time, so if anyone hears a number that is different, please correct me.

1-888-407-4747

Spiritual? Hah.
I can think of many words to use to describe this monster, but I cant use any of them cuz I have to give my daughter 1$ every time I use a cuss word, lol.
This decision was pretty bad timing on my part, lol.

'A single plot'
Did the Hezbollah leader refer to the abduction of the soldiers as far back as April?
