You have GOT to be joking! Syria use the Beirut airport? Now THAT would be justification for bombing, and it's only about ten minutes for the IAF to get here. There was no rush.
At times like this, Reb, the unthinkable becomes real. I have no doubt that Syria would try to get a plane in there if they thought it would stir the pot more.

The time to destroy the runway there, IMFer, is before Syria uses it. If it takes the IAF 10 minutes to get there, it also takes Syria 10 minutes to get to the IAF bases.
You apparently made a poor career choice to be a money changer in Lebanon. Don't worry, my prediction is we will eventually send someone to pick you and the others foolish enough to trade with the Towelhead.
