Iraq is a lot closer than people realize. I have never seen a country that wants democracy as much as Iraq does. They MUST succeed.

Ajami is the BEST. He's the only writer in the US that really understands the Middle East, and can cogently and intelligently write about so that the reader understands it. That, and he seems to have no agendas.
What a concept. A reporter who informs and enlightens without injecting his own agenda. Who ever heard of such a thing?

Actually young Anti-War activist DIANE Hillary RODHAM and young Anti-War activist WILLIAM Jefferson CLINTONs' smiles were empty mirror images of one another during the Vietnam War.
While American Soldiers were busy fighting and dying for the Freedom of others in South East Asia.
Obviously nothing with these two has changed since..?
