I don't just believe them, I've been them.
LOL!!!
I was thinking the exact same thing while typing my last post. For the life of me, I wonder how the heck I ever made it to age 55........

Do you know these boys? You know what's going on in their heads. Nice Christian forgiveness going on in this thread. HE didn't kill, hurt or steal. He did something very, very stupid. I think he's getting the adequate punishment, which is public scorn.

Freeper HairOfTheDog imbibes adult beverages? No?! Next thing you know, you'll be telling me some people FReep while having imbibed and get in flame wars and the like. Not that I would believe it...

I still refuse to praise bad behavior nor will I praise good behavior that is the likely result of urging of an attorney.
Giving them praise for saying they're sorry is simple instant gratification. If they want my respect they'll earn it over time.

To slight one veteran to to slight all veterans. If they are sincere, then as a veteran, their apology is accepted.

So you've never been drunk enough to not remember what you did? If so, then you really don't have any "credible" experience to speak with any kind of authority on this subject. And if so, it is possible you did the same thing.

I tried to find a pic of the War Memorial, but I got a lot of hits. Can someone post a pic of the one in question? It might help us better understand the "I was blotto" defense.

Indeed, sentence them all to join the Canadian Army and serve no less than 12 months in Afghanistan.

I'm not patting anyone on the back. Just recognizing that youth and alcohol can make one do stupid things.
The guy has apologized and has been humiliated. Make him pay to clean it, or clean it himself.
But I'm not about to advocate sending these guys to the chair because they were drunken fools.
I seriously doubt you were ever ~really~ drunk.

Thanks
Hard to picture being so wasted that you could mistake that for anything other than what it is.
But 26 oz of vodka is a LOT of vodka.

Only the "perfect" have never gotten blitzed and done something they'd always regret......if they could remember, that is.
Remorse and apology exhibits character that many can learn from.

Sounds like an elected official (or two) in Mass.

Thanks for that link. There appears to be more to the story.
I still believe one could be drunk enough to not know where he was peeing. I think a lot of posters on the thread have acknowledged that.
However, being drunk enough to pee on something and have your buddy take a picture is another story.

It pleases me that there are still people in this world that own-up to their actions. It somewhat pleases me. I would be happier if all three showed up at the Army Depot and were sent to Afghanistan to fight along the REAL Canadians there.
