There are a lot of Muslims at my university passing out anti-evolution literature, so it is pleasing to me at least to see someone think for a change.

"I then asked a Muslim doctor - and presumably a person with some scientific and medical training - and he told me that evolution was certainly a convincing framework for explaining how so many different species had come to appear on the planet during the course of many hundreds of millions of years. Yet, when I posed the same question to him live on air (on my show for the Islam Channel) he would only say that "My belief on this question is the same as what our scholars derive from Islamic sources, so no, I don't accept it".
He was clearly afraid of the reaction that his true views on evolution would cause." [Emphasis mine]
It's a good thing that leftists spent all their energy attacking Pres. Bush for the "culture of fear" that he creates, huh?

"Darwin and God: can they co-exist? "
They do co-exist.
The problem is, one is lying and the other one is not.
I believe in God so I couldn't possibly believe in Darwin.
Who do YOU have your FAITH in?
BTW, the evidence doesn't point to Darwin ... .

"... Muslim students may come to wrongly blame Islam, rather than the ill-informed interpretation of the Qur'an by some Muslims, for denying the fact - not theory - of biological evolution." I am so torn. It would be a shame if Muslim students came to disdain Islam for the wrong reasons. And yet few among us would applaud a secular influence from prying at the chinks in the Islamic façade.

The cult has not evolved since it assembled itself and crawled out of the dung heap of ancient history to stink up the world. They should have put a lid on the dumpster.

Darwin's Theory is probably mankind's finest theoryever: I didn't comprehend its immense span fully until my college
pre-Med curriculum. It is elegantbeautiful, even. (And am distressed when some can't fully embrace it.)
When you visit your medical doctor, he cannot look at you except as the product of millions of years of evolution.
Ask him.

Interesting, but not surprising.
