I'm NOT "from Conn."; I just live here now. LOL
I'm not "shilling" for anyone nor any thing.
Ummmmmmmmmm....don't YOU want a wall all around America? Isn't FORTRESS AMERICA your kind of thing? LOL
You have bogeymen under your bed, pet?
That's great - and thanks. Amazing what one can find on the net.
I think you are on to something, with that. :-)
No worries . . . I had a good chuckle, seeing that had you posted your comment this afternoon, I could've asked the Lithuanian President about his satellites directly. He and I were at the same event in Chicago.
Even poor people have cars in Texas; you have to have them to get to work. The money that would have to be spent to pay for tolls is a much higher percent/proportion of the person's income.
My problem is not with EZ Pass. I'm merely pointing out that Cintra is HQ in Spain and owns the road and data.
You seem to be troubled by that, not me. Cintra doesn't own my roads.
The NWO conference is supposed to be SECRET or didn't you get that memo?
By the way...did you fly in or use the "Toll Road"?
EZ-PASS hands over MONEY; NOT "data" to states and/or entities it collects for.
Not true here in Dallas. 121 is oing to be tolled, and it is a public highway now.
Just wait a few years. They'll still be profiting more on every gallon of gas than oil companies, but will be tolling everything in site until we put a stop to the runaway toll authorities.
In that case the price of a Big Mac is regressive. In that case you have created a term that is nearly meaningless.
Frankly, I couldn't care less about CINTRA, but YOU appear to have you panties tied up in Gordian knots over all of this.
"Yeah, yeah...n00b. Tell all of that to someone who is as uneducated and gullible as you are."
Educated enough to see BS when I see, hear or read it.
You come off as a Parrot for this project though. Or maybe you just worship at the alter of "Free Trade at All Costs".
Good luck with your god(s).
connecticut isn't all that bad. still, its not good to pee on the place where you live--even if you are just visiting.
where are you from?
I do not see government waste of tax dollars in this deal, but rather purely private funding. If I missed something please correct me. If it is complete private funding, I not only applaud this deal, I welcome it.
".....a Patriot for this project though"? That's a complete misuse of the word "PATRIOT" and patently ridiculous to boot.
Not when they enter partnership for billing.
Lease to collect tolls and data.
Better?
Really? I'm not the one screaming.
"Regressive tax" is not a term that I can take credit for creating, thanks. It's true that food takes up a higher percentage of a person's income as the person's income decreases, but I'm not sure what that has to do with our discussion. Everyone has to eat. It's the facts of life that food takes up a higher percentage of a poorer person's income.
Another problem with toll roads, besides the ones I've mentioned, is that they create tiers of highways--those for the rich and those for the poor. It's similar to the idea of creating an Internet for rich people--an idea that some groups are advocating and others are fighting. Egalitarian is better. Let everyone use the roads.
