I can tolerate that. When I need a B&W fix I can just watch my Richard Greene "The Adventures of Robin Hood" DVDs, or perhaps my Richard Boone "Have Gun, Will Travel".

I will probably see this movie, but I agree with Schlussel's point about the Lois Lane/child out of wedlock character. They could have written the part where she was divorced, or even widowed (for that extra pathos bump), but they chose not to. It was totally unnecessary and was done solely and deliberately to further an agenda.

I hope this isn't a spoiler, but there's been a lot of speculation (not directly addressed in the movie, either way - so I don't think it's a spoiler) that, since this movie keeps the first two Christopher Reeve movies as canon/history, the father of Lois's child is really ... well, someone who kinda disappeared for five years or so.

Assuming this movie succeeds, we may get to find out in a sequel.

She was married to Clark Kent in Superman 2 when she got pregnant. I think they were married at least I know he gave her a ring and I remember something about them being married been awhile since I saw the movie. So does that get a pass :)
