PSI captures nuke goods to Iran

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- A U.S.-led program has captured a shipment of nuclear and missile equipment to Iran.

Officials said that over the last year the Proliferation Security Initiative blocked several attempts to ship missile and nuclear equipment to Iran. They said the detained shipments comprised dual-use and military products.

"PSI cooperation has stopped the export to Iran's missile program of controlled equipment and dual-use goods," Undersecretary of State Robert Joseph said. "One PSI partner has also stopped the export of heavy water-related equipment to Iran's nuclear program.

If this is accurate, it may explain why they said they're not interested in talks with the U.S. If they haven't already passed it, they're staring right at the point of no return.

Missles are bombs (things that blow up) that can carry nuclear warheads (things that are WMDs). Iran IS enriching uranium (stuff that makes you glow in the dark before you die)...that is the material need for nuclear warheads.
