" By what process, exactly? "

I state it as a belief, not as a naturalist view which can be verified.

But then again, your views are based on belief, since the fossil record changes can't be duplicated and observed in a controlled environment as real science would be performed.

P.S. Are you now going to call me a liar for stating my belief/opinion?

Oh now I'm hurt. Because I dare to question your beliefs, I now don't even have a degree.

Where in my post did I use the term "belief"? You writing skills need to be improved. I find it sad that a person with a college degree demonstrates such.

Gads, I have to say your in the same boat. You too should ask for your money back. I thought Radio Astronomers were Intellectuals, who you obviously infer you are. Are not Intellectuals suppose to have compassion on the weak of mind, which you imply I am. I don't buy that your a radio astronomer. Your just some weak minded nerd trying to socially fit in.

Again, where did I use the term "weak of mind"? I was just commenting on you obvious lack of not only writing ability, but you general lack of science knowledge as well.

Hey - You were the one who claimed to be a scientist. Remember?

You need to go back to your school and demand your money back and then go home and beat the heck out of both your parents for raising you to be such a non-compassionate nerd.

Compassion I have. All you needed to say was "I don't understand, will you please help me". I would have fallen all over myself to help you, even if it took hundreds of posts.

FYI, in your above post, "your" should be "you're" - just one example.

You've missed so many points on this thread, I'm beginning to suspect you're trying to throw a basketball game.

John Paul II was mentioned to demonstrate that you don't have to be an atheist to accept the Theory of Evolution. It has nothing to do with the Catholic doctrine of papal infallibility, whether or not one is Catholic, or whether or not the Pope is without sin (which has nothing to do with infallibility, btw).

Your link illustrates my point. Their words are "origins and early evolution," separating the concepts.

It's a state park about 60 miles south of Fort Worth.

Another good place for footprints is the Skyline Drive above Canon City Colorado. The prints are exposed from below. (This one's free.) There are more prints in the Eastern Colorado Plains but I've never seen them.

Dude! (Or dudette)

I have never seen anyone dig a hole faster than you did.

My advice is when you are in a hole - stop digging.

that were carbon dated to be over 400,000 years old.

Carbon dating tops out at about 50,000 years. There has never been a carbon date of 400,000. An immeasurably old date might be shown as >50,000 or some such, but never something like 400,000.

The more you post the more errors we see. Its not engendering confidence in your accuracy.

If you had just stopped right here.

I believe that you neglected to complete this sentence by explaining the hypothetical outcome of Ichneumon's stopping his setence prematurely. I did observe, however, that ending Ichneumon's sentence at the point that you directed would have made it as equally incomplete as your own sentence fragment, as Ichneumon's sentence opened with "while" and described a true statement, your editing cuts it short prior to the condition for which the "While" was used. Without that section of the sentence, the "while" makes no sense.

At this point, I think the only useful advice to give Russ is "learn to speak Chinese".

That's good advice but requires a recipient smart enough to know he's in a hole.

You are wrong. Evolution describes the changes of life, not the beginning.

What? You think the overall idea of evolution is limited to changes in living organisms? Evolution covers everything from the big bang to man.

"Evolution covers everything from the big bang to man."

Poppycock. The Big Bang has NEVER been part of the ToE.

Please stop while you're behind.

Perhaps you should consider obtaining your information regarding the theory of evolution from a source other than Kent Hovind. You are incorrect; the theory of evolution does not, in any way, cover the Big Bang.

The ToE was the seed to a larger movement. The Big Bang is the beginning. Astronomers discuss Galactic and stellar evolution constantly. Stellar evolution leads us the creation of heavy metals and planetary evolution, which leads to biological evolution. It's all one big continuum. The fact that it wasn't part of Darwin's original idea is completely irrelevant.
