The story is that Jacob paid them as employees. It's more serious than Tancredo's contractor hiring illegals to redo his basement, but not very serious in my opinion. The main problem with Jacob is that he wouldn't stand for anything and on the one issue that he should have stood for something (illegals), he expressed a similar (and probably more irresponsible) idea than Cannon's:
Jacob's "amnesty" plan is nowhere near close to amnesty and is just a suggestion that's similiar to a part of the Pence plan.
