And where are the calls for investigations into THIS treasonous behavior?

It's going to be tough competition with all those MSM folks blowing the lid off the Oil-For-Food program.

Forget investigations. We need boiling oil, pitchforks and feathers to deal with these treasonists.

Why would they try to kill themselves? Sounds like suicide to me.

It looked at bank transfers in the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, or SWIFT, system to track the financial activities of terrorists and their friends.
______________
So I wonder who at the times is considered "a friend". What common friends are there? - and where exactly does the money trail stop within the times (or post)?

The New York Times is showing itself to be an enemy of its own country, yet I don't see any real anger from the White House. If anything, Tony Snow was playing defense yesterday at his presser. He was defending the program instead of launching an attack at the Times. Where's Bush? Where's the outrage? Cheney sounded more sad than mad at his speech yesterday.

The Times should have ALL of their credentials yanked. Helping terrorists MUST NOT be tolerated.

As for the Cindy Sheehans inside the government who must've leaked this in a deliberate effort to harm Bush and increase the chances of another 9/11 happening on his watch, they should be prosecuted BEFORE any of our accused troops are prosecuted for what they might've done in the heat of battle.

This kind of behavior is just stunning. These guys betray programs and activities that are helping to keep Americans safe -- and they want to be congratulated! It's just astounding.

If the Bush Justice Department doesn't think this is a big deal, who are we to complain?

Does anyone remember the infamous Walter Duranty, N.Y. Times reporter and Pulitzer winner? He was nothing but a shill for Stalin and lied in his reports when he KNEW very well what was happening during Stalin's collectivization and mass purges.

He was wined and dined and celebrated upon his return to the USA - by the elite.

Santayana's well known adage holds true for the Times: "Those who don't remember the past are condemned to relive it".

they've given aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war — and that is simply inexcusable treasonous.

I'm getting the impression my Republican representation in congress is due a spinal infusion. there had better be some screams for heads coming from the White House and congress over this.

Everyone ignores one obvious reason why these newspapers release this information.

It is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. No one wants to talk about it.

1. They release the information because they are on the side of the terrorists and are doing their espionage work for them. Liberals have found that if they condemn classified information as "abuse of power," then they can call themselves "whistleblowers" instead of spies. Then they get lauded for their courage.

With all the treasonous lying bastards that have "won" pulitzers and nobels, who gives a shiite who won this year last year or next year. They have become the Oscars of anti Americanism.

There seems to be a problem in the MSM and the state dept. holding onto secrets.

Perhaps it is time to plant some stories and see where the nuts fall. The NYT should get a bogus story or two and we should see some treason firings and convictions. Perhaps of the leakers and "reporters" found that the administration is serious about prosecuting traitors, it would come to a screeching halt.

How about some guts and imagination form the Bush admin?
