King's got Coulteritis: say something outrageous to get attention, especially when you're from a cornfield.
Well, I'm laughing so hard, I can hardly type. I never thought I'd live to see the day when I needed to come to Steve King's defense. Ordinarily, he's quite capable of defending himself.
Unfortunately, I haven't noticed him here this evening, so I want to point out; Mr Sinkspur; that you have totally misjudged the Congressman.
I've known Steve for 10, maybe 15 years. He is the hardest working public policy specialist I've ever watched work. Furthermore, he's not afraid to step up to the plate and do (or say) what needs to be done (or said).
You don't have to agree with King 100% of the time to appreciate his straight forward approach. You always know where you stand with the guy. How many other CongressCritters can we say that about.
You're wrong about Steve King, Sinkspur. Dead Wrong.

"especially when you're from a cornfield."
Exactly what is that supposed to mean? And what is it that you have against King?
May I remind you that us folks here in the cornfields lend a very deep hue of red to that map of the United States. Iowa was a lot more red in 2004 than in 2000, partly because of Steve King. He grates on my nerves sometimes too, but at least he has cahoonas.
