It is interesting that creationists claim that those who accept evolution are unwilling to reconsider their ideas, and then when ideas within evolution are reconsidered, it is taken by cretaionists as evidence that the theory is failing.

The time period roughly 6-10 million years ago has few fossils because apes and the rest were all living in forests, which are very poor at creating fossils. Boo hoo.....
How does we KNOW where they were ALL living???
If there are no fossils, how do we know they were living there at all?

If there are no fossils, how do we know they were living there at all? Well, where do you thing forest-dwelling critters were dwelling? Miami Beach?

That should, of course, read:
Well, where do you think forest-dwelling critters were dwelling? Miami Beach?

God planted those remains to fool us all and test us to make sure we follow His Word (/do I need the sarc tag? Sadly yes)

How does we KNOW where they were ALL living??? I suppose "some" as a subset of "all" doesn't meet some sort of arbitrary evaluation criteria you have?

Well, where do you think forest-dwelling critters were dwelling? Somewhere inside circular logic?
There seems to be hardly any record.

HERESAY ALERT!!!!
Did you mean "heresy" or "hearsay"? I really can't tell.
To: VadeRetro
When you run evolutionary divergence backwards, you see convergence. The farther back you go, the more unlike things look like each other... That's what evolution says you should see. That's what you do see. Indeed, indeed. That is what you do see. For instance, Anomalocaris and Hallucigenia, being nearly the same size to within a few orders of magnitude, are so much alike that a skilled Darwinian can no longer tell them apart...
To: Ethan Clive Osgoode
Anomalocaris for sure has a bizarre mix of lobopod worm and arthropod features, said mix offering a clue to the origin of arthropods from worms. See
Phylum-level evolution. (Another such clue is the worm-like nature of most hatchling insects even today.)
Hallucigenia is an ambiguous fossil offering few clues for interpretation.

I'm expecting the Institute for Creation Research's take on this any day now.

Great link!
Thanks for finding the article.

I'm expecting the Institute for Creation Research's take on this any day now. Creation-Evolution Headlines will probably word-lawyer this to death, if they're still operating. Haven't seen a thread on their nonsense in a some time, though.

If there are no fossils, how do we know they were living there at all?Because a few remains have been found. More will be found. Satellites make it easier to identify likely locations to look.
To: fish hawk
Well? Still waiting. Did you fail to read the paper before making your stupid comment, or did you try to read it but just plain failed to understand a word of what you're read? Which is it?
