A fresh Rasmussen poll(premium) shows that Allen is leading Webb by 51% to 41%. Apprently Webb got a bounce from his primary victory

You know the Democrats are really scraping the bottom of the barrel when they have to get someone who served as a key member of the Defense Department in a Republican administration to run in a high-profile race like this.

Miller, Webb's opponent in the primaries, certainly was subjected to an interesting sort of attack that depicted him as having an exceedingly hooked nose and accused him of being greedy.

Webb's people denied that the use of anti-semitic stereotypes made one an anti-semite.

For the most part the Virginia Democratic party has fallen into the rough hands of Corporatists, which is just another way of saying "fascists". The current governor, and the guy before him, fit that profile to a "T".

Unless the African-American community comes around to accepting the idea that they don't really need to live on a Plantation run by Corporatists, Allen might well lose this election!

There is alot to dislike about Webb. For example, he is a pro-abort. But that is very misleading. Personally, I think the appearance of a Webb in the Democrat party is refreshing. He is a little rough around the edges but Webb in many ways is like an old Henry Jackson style Democrat. He is definitely not a raging ultra-left kook like the vast majority of the Democrat politicians these days.

I don't live in Virginia. And given the choice of Webb or Allen, I would vote Allen. But don't demonize Webb. The ascension of people like Webb into the Democrat party should be welcomed.

I have very little idea whats going on in Virginia, but I know Webb just went through a nasty primary yet he is at 41% and Allen (our next president) is only at 51%.

I live in Virginia. Webb and the others like him thrown up by the Democrats over the last 5 years (at the state level) actually should be demonized. All of them are prepared to raise taxes for no reason at all.

This is the sort of liberal PC nonsense that is used against conservatives all the time. The drawing of Miller was a TRACING OF MILLERS ACTUAL PROFILE. Literally, there are side by side comparisons out there where you can see that it's almost an exact match. The "antisemitic stereotype" is simply doing an accurate sketch of what the guy looked like. Quick, call the PC police!
