This whole week was a series of low blows to those of us who value peace, freedom, and justice. Every time I turned on the TV there was another depressing news story of Republicans running amok and it just made me want to puke! It was almost more than I could take.
First of all, over in Iraq this Abu Musab al-Zarqawi guy gets brutally murdered by two 500-pound bombs dropped by a U.S. jet and the conservatives act like they just won the lottery. Where's the respect for human life? Where's the compassion? Where's the love of one's fellow man? Oh sure, al-Zaqawi maybe cut off a few heads and some other stuff, so that gives us a right to drop huge bombs on his head? It shows how desperate the Right is to kill anyone who doesn't believe exactly as they do. Barbarians.
Next, we're hit with even worse news that Karl Rove gets off scot-free in the Valerie Plame case. Here's a guy who may very well be the Devil himself, and he gets a free pass for horrendous crimes while some dumb Jordanian camel jockey gets bombs the size of Volkswagons dropped on his head! What's wrong with this picture? No doubt Halliburton working in conjunction with the GOP Forces Of Evil influenced this case, all but destroying our legal system's credibility and assuring the rest of us dark days to come.
The final blow was G.W. Chimpy McHitler's surprise flight to Baghdad, where he scared the crap out of his new puppet leader, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Does anybody NOT know that this Maliki guy is obviously some old Hawaiian drinking buddy W installed? This administration thinks we're all so stupid that we would believe somebody named "Maliki" is Arab just because they stick "al-" before his name? Hey, we didn't go to college for nothing.
Anyway, President Dufus flies into Iraq like he owns the place without even telling Maliki he's coming, just so he could act like a big shot because he blew up al-Zaqawi and knows he can't cut his head off now. No doubt W was just making sure they weren't stealing the ashtrays, and wanted to fill up Air Force One with some cheap gas. The bad news is that he escaped with his life and came back to the U.S. Where's the towel-heads with those shoulder-fired missiles at the end of the runway when you need them?
The final straw this week was the release of Ann Coulter's new book and her inevitable disgusting presence on every news program on TV, and not just Fox. She is now officially attacking every living thing on earth and needs to be destroyed, period. The tragic thing is that Al-Zarqawi would have been perfect for this, if the Air Force hadn't liquefied his internal organs.
It goes without saying this week was a disaster.
That's pretty funny.
Aloha, Al Maliki. Hula, hula, ukulele!
Drop those Volkswagons!
It's satire. And a "Hallelujah!" on the tagline!
>>500 pound bomb
they dropped Michael Moore on him?
Funny!
To some of us, the al-Maliki comments come off as extremely racist. But then, that's what liberals do best.
wow. that's hilarious. i had never heard of her before. she's got a new fan in me.
"It's all satire. She says right on her profile that she's 50, married and strongly conservative."
Well, it seems that I have seen some of this same stuff at the DUmp.
Even over at the Daily Kos they REALLY hate Moonbeam: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/6/16/12838/5965
I don't care who you are, that's funny right there.
I tried to convince a friend of mine to join me in pretending to be a liberal for a day. He couldn't bring himself to do it. I suspect this is exactly what it would have looked like.
That has to be sarcasm.
In the great liberal spirit of free speech, The Daily Kos just wiped out all Peace Moonbeam stories posted there that in any way reflected poorly on liberals.
Nice job, Commies!
I left a comment on her blog.
I want to marry this woman.
